MILLBURY – Stanley F. Stickney, 78, of 15 Jackson Lane, died Saturday, February 23rd in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
His wife, Theresa R. (Radesky) Stickney died in 2002. He leaves a daughter, Judith A. wife of Ronald Brunelle of Oxford; two grandchildren, Matthew and Shannon Brunelle of Oxford. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Stanley J. and Frances I. (Homler) Stickney and a brother, Robert Stickney.
Stanley was a business manager for the Millbury School Department from 1975 to 1987. He formerly worked at Table Talk Co. in Worcester. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Millbury Council on Aging, the Millbury Lion's Club and the Millbury Democratic Town Committee.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, February 27th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 26th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
