Stella Army

Stella M. (Patrock) Army, 94, passed away Friday, May 13th in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Stella's husband, Roy L. Army passed away in 1998. She leaves a daughter with whom she lived, Dorene F. Boudreau of Millbury; a brother Charles Patrock of Dudley; a daughter in law, Janice Army of Sutton; five grandchildren, Lori Santon and her husband, Wayne Stepanauskas, Edward Santon and his wife, Michelle, Derek Boudreau, Christine Brown and Jessica Lussier; many great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew; her special friend, Madeline Willette of Millbury. She is predeceased by her son, Stephen D. Army; a grandson, Stephen D. Army, Jr; a brother, John Patrock and infant brother, Stanley.

Stella worked for many years at W.T. Grant Company in Worcester and Jeffco Fibers in Millbury. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, donating the baby blankets she made to UMASS Memorial Neo Natal Unit. Most of all Stella was dedicated to her family and loved spending time with them, especially Sunday dinners at her home. A special thanks to her hospice nurse Michelle, her home health assistant Nancy and her volunteer Kathy.

Stella's calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 18th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.

Her funeral service will follow the calling hours with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
