UXBRIDGE- Stephen R. Anderson, 64, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, August 2nd, after a long battle with COPD.
Stephen leaves his wife of 37 years, Jessica A. (Beaudoin) Anderson; two sons, Zakery and Steven Anderson both of Uxbridge; four siblings, Paul Anderson and his wife, Carol of Holden, Marybeth Sullivan and her husband, David of Millbury, Judith Durling and her husband, Joseph of Worcester and Kenneth Anderson and his wife Carolyn of Alpena, MI; several nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased his parents, Paul and Sarah (Paciello) Anderson and a nephew, Paul.
Stephen grew up in Millbury and graduated from Millbury High School in 1975. He enjoyed playing softball and soccer. Stephen also enjoyed watching his son’s sporting events, camping, fishing and coaching in the Millbury Cal Ripken League. He taught karate and received the level of black belt. Stephen worked for over 25 years for the D.P.W in the Town of Uxbridge and was a driving instructor for many years.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Stephen’s life with his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6th in St. Mary Catholic Church, 77 Mendon Street in Uxbridge. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
