Stephen Kelley

KISSIMMEE, FL- Stephen J. Kelley- formerly from Millbury, and resided in Auburn, Ma for over 35 years passed away on November 28, 2021 at age 70.

His passing is a result of short and declining health which resulted in a fall landing him in Florida hospitals for nearly 3 months.

He was predeceased by his parents Gerard,Sr. and Margaret (Lapinski) Kelley.  He is survived by his wife Maria Regina (Alencar) Kelley, a son Stephen Jr. and his wife Alisha of Orlando, Florida, his daughter Lisa and her husband of California, stepdaughter Paula Alencar and husband Cleber Silva, stepson Gustavo Alencar, granddaughters Yasmin and Mauela Silva all of Brazil.  He also leaves his brother Gerard Kelly, Jr. and wife Donna (Suprenant) of Millbury, Ma; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Steve grew up in Millbury, graduated from Millbury High and attended Worcester State University.  He worked primarily in the sales and distribution fields for several area companies in central mass for many years.  He retired some 3 years ago moving to his retirement condo in Florida.

In his younger years he played in bands as a drummer.  He built and flew many model ariplanes.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed following racecar events such as Nascar.  He and his wife looked forward to camping in their trailer on the Cape Cod canal during summer months.  Steve was a member of Worcester Surfcastors Club for many years.  He also looked forward for his yearly visits to his family in Anapolis, Brazil.

The family would like to thank Advent Health Hospital, Orlando specialty hospital, and the Vitas Suites Hospice, all located in central Florida, who took care of Steve during his last and most difficult months.  And especially his wife, Maria, who stood by his side daily during these most difficult times.

Family and friends will remember and celebrate Steve’s life with a time of visitation on Wednesday, December 15th from 10:30 a.m. to Noon at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N Main Street, Millbury.

His funeral service will follow at Noon in the funeral home.

Face mask’s will be required for all services in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
