MILLBURY - Stephen M. Orcutt, 64, died suddenly on June 25th in Swanzey, NH.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Allard) Orcutt; three daughters, Jennifer Orcutt, Sandra Briggs and Barbara Orcutt; one son, Michael Orcutt; two grandsons, Khristian Charpentier and Bryan Orcutt. He was born in Worcester, and is predeceased by his parents, Ralph T. and Barbara A. (Mars) Orcutt and a brother, Ralph Orcutt Jr.
He was a graduate of Millbury Memorial High School and served in the US Army from 1969-1972. He was a member of the Local 170 Teamsters and worked for several transportation companies in the Central Mass area before retiring last year. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and sports enthusiast. He was an active member of the Monadnock Sportsman Association in Swanzey, NH. He previously was a racecar driver on the N.E. stock car circuit.
Stephen's calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, June 30th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday following the funeral service, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bryan Orcutt Educational Fund in care of the Millbury National Bank, 18 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
