MILLBURY Susan E. (Blackstone) Boden, 67, of 22 Park Hill Ave., died Friday, Jan. 19th in the Autumn Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Worcester.
She leaves her husband, Alfred M. Boden Jr.; a daughter, Jennifer wife of John Clouthier of Sturbridge; a son, James A. Boden and his wife Christina Pligavklo and their son, Nicholas all of Sudbury; several cousins. She was born in Clinton, daughter of Walter and Catherine (Sullivan) Blackstone. She graduated from Worcester State College in 1961 and received her MasterTM)s Degree in education from the college in 1963.
Mrs. Boden was an elementary school teacher for the Worcester School Department for 40 years, retiring in 2001. She was a former councilor at MarionTM)s Camp in Sutton, in the 1950TM)s and then became a Day Director for a short time and was a former member of the Board of Directors for the Campfire Girls, in Worcester. She sang in the Worcester Choirs for many years.
Her services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
