Theodore Agos

October 21, 1934 — August 18, 2012

Theodore L. Agos, 77, of Rochdale, formerly of Northborough, Sutton and North Oxford, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 18, 2012.
He was born in Boston, son of late Louis B. and Mary (Ramoesa) Agos. He is survived by his wife Corlene Swanski-Agos.

He was married to Lorraine J. (Berard ) Agos for 46 years until her death in 2009. He leaves their daughters, Donna-Jean Morelli and her husband Paul of Charlton, Valerie S. Agos and her fiancé Peter Langiais of North Oxford; three grandchildren, Danielle and her husband Todd Standring, Dominic and Marisa Morelli; one great-granddaughter Gianna Morelli.

Mr. Agos was an Electronic Technician and Instrumentation Specialist for 25 years at the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, supporting the faculty in their scientific research and teaching. Mr. Agos was an astronomy enthusiast, sharing his knowledge as a member of the Aldrich Astronomical Society, Inc. As a mineral collector, he developed an extensive collection, especially from Mont Saint-Hilaire in Quebec, Canada. He loved sailing on Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. He was an avid reader, photographer and enjoyed oil painting. Theodore was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the National Guard.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 1089 Stafford St., Rochdale, MA on Saturday, August 25 at 2:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Aldrich Astronomical Society, Inc. , c/o Anna Maria College, Box G, 10 Sunset Lane, Paxton, MA 01612 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
