Theresa M. (Sweeney) Dumas, 74, went to be with her husband on Thursday, July 26, 2012.
Her husband, Robert J. Dumas, died last year. She leaves her beloved two sisters, Dorothy L. Sweeney of Worcester and Barbara Baroni of Millbury; her good friend, Robert Gallant of Worcester and her furry dog friend, Smokey. She also leaves two brother-in-laws who reside in Billerica; nieces and nephews in Millbury. She was born in Medford, daughter of William and Theresa (Donovan) Sweeney.
Mrs. Dumas was a Certified Nurses Aide and worked in area nursing homes, among which was Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester and the former Providence House Nursing Home in Millbury.
Theresa's calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. immediately following the calling hours, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
