Thomas Hamilton, Jr.

MILLBURY - Thomas F. Hamilton, Jr., 87, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Thomas is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Betty Ann (Vayo) Hamilton and his brother Robert Hamilton.  He leaves his four children: Scot Hamilton and his wife Tina of Warren, Bridget Tower and her husband William of Millbury, Bonnie Hagan and her husband John of Charlton, and Bettie Ann Hamilton Andrews of Grafton.  He leaves a sister Harriet Ducharme. He also leaves nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Thomas worked as a carpenter for many years before working as the Head of Buildings and Maintenance for the Millbury School System.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in his summer home in Wells, Maine and winter vacations in Aruba.  He loved watching the Bruins, Red Sox and Patriot games along with reading and bird watching.

Family and friends will honor and remember Tom’s life by gathering for his Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27th in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury. There are no calling hours.  Burial will be private.
