Thomas P. Germain Jr., 88, died Friday, January 20, 2012, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife, Eleanor (Roy) Germain; a son Louis P. Germain of Worcester; a daughter, Linda J. Lavallee of Worcester; two step-sons, Mark Popham of Orange and Gary Popham of Gardner; and daughter-in-law, Lavonne Germain of Dudley; a brother Peter Germain; grandchildren, great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his 1st wife, Evelyn R. (Russell) Germain, his parents Thomas and Carmela (Siano) Germain, a daughter, Beverly A. Wark, a son, Thomas P. Germain III.
Thomas was a truck driver for many area companies among which was Pennsylvania Truck Lines, Hemmingway Trucking and Hampden Distributors. He was a member of Local Union #170.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25th in St. Brigid Cemetery, West and & Waters St. in Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
