WORCESTER – Thomas E. Granger, 46, passed away at home on Saturday, May 26th.
Tom leaves his son, Keith T. Granger of Templeton; his mother, Sheila N. (May) Courchaine of Millbury; his father, Thomas J. Granger of Worcester; two sisters, Renee Corso of Douglas and Sherri Granger of Auburn; his niece, Alexandra Corso and nephews, Dominic Corso and Harry Brodeur; along with so many caring aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was on his journey towards recovery and was grateful for the love and kindness he received.
Tom graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer. He worked in the construction industry. He loved his dad's cooking, singing his own lyrics to 80s songs, and lifting weights. He was patient with children and had fun playing games. He loved the lake life; enjoyed swimming and kayaking, especially at Stiles Lake. He delighted people with an infectious laugh, had a mischievous grin, gave the best hugs, and was famous for bestowing nicknames. He greeted people by rubbing their ear and teased family and friends. His many lifelong friends are a testament to his loyalty and caring nature. Tommy will be missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends will honor and remember Tom’s life by gathering for calling hours on Wednesday, June 6th from 4 to 6 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals located at 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers or donations, his family asks for you to remember to be kind, patient, and never afraid to ask for help.
