Thomas Heintz

July 31, 1954 — May 12, 2006

MILLBURY- Thomas W. Heintz, 51, of 134 Park Hill Ave., died Friday, May 12th after a long courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves his loving wife, Christine M. (Doucette) Heintz and daughter Allyson Heintz. He also leaves four other children, Thomas Trundle of California, Matthew Heintz of Grafton, Holly wife of Matthew McCormick of Leominster and Kristen Heintz of Grafton; his parents, Wallace and Patricia (Hall) Heintz of Otisfield, ME; a sister, Susan wife of Michael OTM)Byrne of Durham, NH; a nephew, Tory OTM)Byrne and a niece Wendy OTM)Byrne.

Mr. Heintz was a furnace mason who retired from Wyman Gordon Co. in Grafton. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union. He spent most of his adult life working and living in Massachusetts. As a child he spent summers on Thompson Lake in Otisfield, ME and enjoyed returning there each year, with his family. He will always be remembered by family and friends for his great sense of humor.

His calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 15th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 16th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Allyson Heintz Scholarship Trust Fund, in care of the Millbury Savings Bank, 109 Elm St., Millbury, MA 01527.
