March 24, 1926 — June 8, 2013

MILLBURY - Thomas Henry Maloney, 87 of Millbury died peacefully at home on Saturday, June 8, 2013 after a long illness.

He leaves his wife Claire E.(Dupont) Maloney and two daughters, Jan C. Wilner and her husband Dr. David Wilner of Holden and Joy E. Biagiotti and her husband Joseph Biagiotti of East Boston. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Samantha E. Wilner of Bronx, NY, Joshua A. Wilner of Allston, Anthony T. Biagiotti and Sarah C. Biagiotti both of East Boston. Tom was born in West Millbury and was the son of the late Joseph and Ellen (Hamilton) Maloney. He was predeceased by two brothers, James Maloney and John Maloney.

He graduated from Millbury High School in 1944, served in the armed forces and then worked at New England High Carbon Wire, Co. until his retirement.

Tom was the Honored Old Timer for 2012 after attending and participating in Millbury's Old Timer's Banquet for many years. He was a long time parishioner at St. Brigid's Parish and served in the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Democratic Town Committee. He enjoyed collecting coins and working in his yard.

Tom's family would like to thank Dr. Glenn Randall and all the staff at Summit Eldercare at East Mountain Street for their years of compassionate care.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.

A calling hour will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service in the funeral home.
