SUTTON i�½ Vincent M. i�½Vinnyi�½ Stellman of Sutton died peacefully in his home on January 7th, with his loved ones by his side, just one month short of his 93rd birthday.

He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Josephine, who passed away in January of 2001. Vincent leaves behind his two daughters: Janice Berthiaume and her husband Alan of Sutton, and Joanne Rouleau and her husband Walt of Rapid City, South Dakota. His five grandchildren whom he loved dearly are also left behind: Jessica and Sara Berthiaume of Sutton, Cheryl Johnson of South Dakota, Walt Rouleau and Bonnie Beck, both of California. In addition, Vincent also leaves behind six great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. His brother, Richard Stellman, and his two sisters, Agnes Liberace, and Sally Kellogg predeased him.

Vincent was born in Worcester on Feb. 10, 1918, and lived there until moving with his family to Sutton 55 years ago. During WWII, Vincent served in the US Navy in the Pacific campaign on board a PT boat. He was injured, and received the Purple Heart and other medals for his bravery and service to his country. He worked very hard for over thirty years at Standard Foundry in Worcester as a molder until his retirement in 1980.

Vincent was always a very active man and an independent spirit who loved his family, especially his grandchildren of whom he was very proud. He was an avid gardener, and spent much of his retirement years working in his garden and around his home. He will be dearly missed by his family, and his special neighbor and friend, Kathy Averka, of whom he was very fond.

His calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 11th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. the same evening in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date in Howard Cemetery in Sutton, next to his beloved wife Josephine.
