MILLBURY Viola C. (Maillet) Richard, 87, of 23 Prospect St., died Saturday, April 17th in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Northbridge.
Her husband, J. Edgar Richard died in 1991. She leaves two sons, Ronald E. Richard of Millbury and R. Wayne Richard of Naples, Florida; seven brothers, Vincent, Alvin, Charles, George and Ronald Maillet all of Canada, Leo Maillet of Florida and Acquilla Maillet of Riverside, Ca.; two sisters, Bertha E. Guzas of Worcester and Yvonne Carbonneau of Harwich; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nephew and nieces.
Mrs. Richard was a die maker at Johnson Steel and Wire Co., in Worcester for 39 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.
Her funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 22nd at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., Boston, Ma. 02210. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
