Violet M. “Cookie” (Gibree) Davis, 93, passed away on Wednesday, Sept 27th surrounded by her loving family.
Violet’s husband, George R. Davis passed away in 2002. She leaves her daughter, Linda L. Fowler of Worcester; two sons, G. Raymond Davis, Jr. and his wife, Gale of Florida and Robert E. Davis and his wife, Tracey of Leicester; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Novia and Barbara Sestito both of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a grandson, Sean Davis; two sisters, Rose and Alyce; two brothers, Richard and Everett.
Cookie was born in Worcester and is the daughter of the late, Robert and Delia (Perry) Gibree. She liked to play bingo, trips to Foxwoods and most of all Cookie loved spending time with her family.
Cookie’s calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
Her funeral services follow the calling hours at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial next to her husband, George will be in Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
