MILLBURY – Walter P. Bodah, 85, died Saturday, November 19, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Bridget (Kearns) Bodah; a daughter, Elizabeth M. Cadorette and her husband John of Millbury; a son, David W. Bodah of Nevada; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Ayer and is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Anne (O'Malley) Bodah, a son, Kenneth J. Bodah who died in 2002 and two sisters and a brother.
Mr. Bodah was a foreman at Wyman-Gordon Company in Grafton before he retired in 1988. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran during WW II and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Worcester. He enjoyed reading, gardening and his grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov.23nd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. in Worcester. Burial will be in St. Philip's Cemetery in Grafton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22nd in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Worcester, MA 01604.
