Walter F. DeAdder, Jr., 68, of Millbury passed away peacefully Friday, March 22, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.
Walter was born in Lawrence MA on April 21, 1955 to Walter DeAdder Sr. and Dorothy (Noonan) DeAdder. He graduated Foxborough High School and Northeastern University. He retired from Schmidt Equipment Inc in 2020 after over 35 years of service.
A devoted husband and father, Walter enjoyed spending time with his family and longtime friends at his northern home, as well as his time in the warm sun with his new friends in his second home in Port Saint Lucie, FL, which was his “happy place.” He enjoyed working on his swing, scaring away the fish, visiting his family at the beach in Maine, and keeping up with Cam & Nate.
Walter is survived by his wife of 45 years Cathy, and their three children, Walter III & his wife Lee of North Oxford, Gary & his wife Daniele of Millbury, and Sarah of Millbury, his grandchildren Cameron & Nathan, as well as his sister Patricia Laster of Foxborough and her two daughters Lindsey and Lauren & her husband Joseph, his longtime friend Sam Shin, and countless nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his mother & father and his brother Donald DeAdder.
Family and friends are invited to remember Walter’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, March 27th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 28th at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury with burial to follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
