Wayne F. Army, 72, passed away Saturday, September 27th after a brief illness in his daughters home surrounded by his loving family.

Wayne leaves his wife of 51 years, Lois (Shaw) Army; two daughters, Debra L. Church and her husband, Ross of Douglas and Judith E. Gauthier and her husband, Michael of Oxford; three grandsons, Christopher Gauthier and his wife, Dama of Ohio, Robert Gauthier and his wife, Brittany of Millbury and Tyler Church of Douglas; one great grandson, Anthony Gauthier of Ohio; a brother, Roger Army and his wife, Arlene of Washington. He is predeceased by his parents, Roger and Gertrude (McLaughlin) Army and a sister, Glenna Harding.

Wayne graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School and New England Barber School. He was a self-employed barber and a truck driver for UPS for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. Wayne was a member of the Local Teamsters 170. He enjoyed traveling and boating. Most of all Wayne loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Wayne's calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1st at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation, 7151 N. Main Street, Suite 2, Cranston, MI, 48346.
