MILLBURY Wayne R. Sclar, 55, of 15 Manor Rd, died Monday, March 1st in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester.
He leaves two brothers, James D. Sclar and Barry B. Sclar both of Millbury. A sister, Barbara J. Ianniccheri predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Hyman J. and Doris M. (Leary) Sclar and lived in Millbury most of his life.
Mr. Sclar was a former member of the Millbury School Committee, Millbury Charter Commission and the Millbury School Building Committee. He was a member of the Democratic TownCommittee.
Calling hours at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 5th. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, March 5th in the funeral home. Entombment will be private in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice..
