Wilfred J. "Will" Morin, 67, died Wednesday, April 23rd in the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Geraldine K. (Felicetti) Morin. He also leaves 3 children; Wilfred Morin of New York, Gerald Morin of California and Michelle Morin and her boyfriend Eric Wiese of CT. He also leaves one grand-daughter Rose Marie Morin of Peabody. He leaves 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Roland Morin and Kenneth Morin both of Texas, Francis Morin of California, Gary Morin of Oxford, Loretta Keenan and Janet Goodwin both of Worcester.
He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Roland C. and Loretta C. (Beauregard) Morin and also a sister June Elliot of Worcester and a brother Dwight Morin of Florida.
Will was a Vice President of Manufacturing at Sterilite Corporation of Townsend MA and worked there for the past 26 years before retiring in December of 2012. He was a member of the Millbury Lion's Club formerly serving as Secretary, Treasurer, and President. He has received many awards including a double diamond Melvin Jones, the highest award received from Lion's International. Will enjoyed being a Lion.
Will's funeral will be held Monday, April 28th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 27th in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Members of the Millbury Lion's Club will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday for a prayer service.
