WORCESTER - Wilfrid E. "Willie" Buron, 97, of 31 Balis Ave., died Monday, Feb. 4th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
He leaves his wife, June T. (Hatjakos) Buron; three children, Richard A. and his wife, Anna Buron of West Boylston, Janet T. wife of Stephen Connor of Webster and Judith A. wife of Peter Shamaly of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Tamara, Tanya, Amanda, Sean, Kali, Shannon, Jake and Luke; four great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, and is predeceased by his parents, Fernando and Rachael (LaPorte) Buron, two children, Joseph Buron and Gregory Gibson.
Willie delivered milk for Jane Alden, Whitin's, Hillcrest, and Salmonsen's before he retired.
His funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 9th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childre's Hospital P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101.
