WORCESTER - William R. Blair, 91, passed away on Saturday, April 7th surrounded by his family.

Bill’s wife, Natalie M. (Pascucci) Blair passed in 2009.  He leaves a daughter, Donna M. LaPan and her husband, William of Millbury; a son, Steven R. Blair and his wife, Marlene of Methuen; three grandchildren, Gina LaPan Dennis and her husband, Robert of Long Island, NY, Steven S. Blair and his wife, Karen of Methuen and Charlene Hamman and her husband, Brian of NH; four great grandchildren, Natalie, Alexis, Tia, and Sydney; many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by two sisters, Louise-Marie Brodeur and Barbara Tessier.

Bill was veteran of the United States Navy serving his country during World War II.  He was past commander of the VFW Post 6907 of West Boylston.  Bill worked for Jamesbury Corp of Worcester for 35 years and was an avid New England sports fan.

Family and friends will honor and remember Bill’s life by gathering for calling hours on Wednesday, April 11th from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, in Millbury.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 11th in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Road, Worcester.  Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
