SUTTON – William E. Forrest, 80, formerly of Millbury, died Wednesday, Dec. 30th in his home, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Linda M. (Stanley) Forrest; a son, Wayne A. Forrest of Billerica; a daughter, Christine Anne Forrest of Northbridge; nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Chrissy Anne, Kristi, Amanda, Jacob, Jesse, Jesse, Belinda and Ashley; a great granddaughter, Jaiden; a sister, Mary F. Briddon of Millbury; nephews and nieces; four sister-in-laws and a brother-in-law.
Mr. Forrest was a prominent contractor in the Millbury area and also owned and operated Jonathan's Wholesale in Millbury, before he retired. Previously he worked for the Millbury Water Works. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War. Bill was known for his sense of humor, his keen sense for good business and was very giving to those he loved.
His funeral will be held Monday Jan. 4th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Rd. in Sutton. Burial will be in West Sutton Cemetery in Sutton. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday Jan. 3rd in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the family.
