MILLBURY - William F. Jensen, 74, of 17 Millbury Ave., died Monday, Sept. 22 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Shirley A. (Crepeau) Jensen; a son, J. Shawn of Holliston; a granddaughter, Rebecca Jensen. He is predeceased by a son, Barry W. Jensen and a daughter, Karen A. Jensen. He was born in Uxbridge, son of William M. and Florence (Kiernan) Jensen and has lived in Millbury most of his life. He graduated from Millbury High School and Wentworth Institute, in Boston.
Mr. Jensen was a PBX installer-repairman for New England Telephone Co. and for AT&T, for 38 years, retiring in 1989. He was a Army veteran during the Korean War.
He was a committee chairman for many years for the Cub Scout Pack # 109 and a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church and its former Mens Club. He was also a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Pioneers Union of the Telephone Company. His enjoyed yard sales, computers and online auctions.
The funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 26 from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, Ma. 01701.
