CHARLTON - William F. Kirwin, Sr., 94, formerly of Millbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd after a brief illness.
Bill leaves his wife, Bernice (Stevens) Kirwin; four daughters, Jane-Marie Mrazik of Oxford, Denise Dalpe and her husband, James of Millbury, Christine Godbout and her husband, Roger of Worcester and Patricia Kirwin and her companion, Jay West of Worcester; two sons, Michael Kirwin and his wife, Frances of Worcester and William Kirwin, Jr. of Millbury; a son in law, Mario Fraioli of Auburn; two step sons, Alvin Stone and his husband, Dana Briggs and David Stone and his wife, Jessica all of Charlton; eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his first wife, Patricia A. (VanAlstyne) Kirwin; a son, Anthony J. Kirwin and a daughter, Shirley Fraioli.
Bill was a truck driver his entire life. He enjoyed going deep sea fishing on his boat and bartending into his 80’s. Bill was veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion.
Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Bill’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Saturday, March 4th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His graveside service will follow on the same day at 11 a.m. in Central Cemetery, West Street in Millbury.
