MILLBURY – William A. Landry, 61, died Friday, Aug. 29th at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester from complications from COPD.
He leaves a daughter, Julie A. Landry of Bellingham and a brother, Thomas Landry of Sterling; grandchildren, Anna and Cameron Hett of Bellingham, Ayla Brissette of Dudley, Ethan and Zachary Steele of Marstons Mills; several nephews, cousins and his companion, Debbie Kusy of Millbury. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth F. and Norma J. (Fontaine) Landry; a daughter, Jennifer Landry and a brother, Kenneth Landry, Jr.
William graduated from Blackstone Valley Tech. He was a carpenter by trade, a roofer and also worked for the railroad company. He was inventive and a gifted craftsman and made many beautiful wooden pieces.
A private graveside service will be held in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
