William Lebel

November 8, 1962 — April 10, 2007

WORCESTER William J. Lebel Jr., 44, of 55 Warner Ave. died peacefully Tuesday, April 10th in his home, surrounded by his family, after along battle with cancer.

He leaves his wife, Laurie A. (Carlson) Lebel, three children, Rachel J. Flynn of Sherbourn, Lauren and Vanessa Lebel both of West Boylston and his parents, William J. Lebel Sr. and Joyce EL (Gaulin) Lebel of Millbury; four sisters, Cynthia wife of Daniel Foley of Oxford, Amy Lebel, Janet Lebel and Jean Jackman all of Millbury; a brother, Kevin Lebel of Millbury; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by two brothers, Daniel and Jeffrey Lebel. He graduated from Blackstone Valley Tech in 1980.

William worked for the Rutland Department of Public Works. He was lead singer and guitarist in his own band, Bottom Line. He was a member of the CarpenterTM)s Union in Worcester and the Canal SportsmenTM)s Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the Red SoxTM)s.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14th in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for his children, the Lebel Children's Trust Fund, in care of the Millbury National Bank, 18 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527 or to St. Judes Children's Hospital P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101. Mulhane Home for Funerals, Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
