William F. Morrissey

WEST BOYLSTON – William F. Morrissey passed away with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, April 6^th after a brief illness.

Bill leaves his wife of 37 years, Linda (Shatos) Morrissey.  He also leaves in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by his mother, Mary F. (Spillane) Morrissey and his brother, Edward F. Morrissey.  

Bill was born and grew up in Worcester. He graduated from the former Worcester Boys Trade School and worked for Woodbury & Company for over 40 years.  He was an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. He spent many years going to baseball spring training and baseball card shows with his brother Ed. He also loved vacationing at Hampton Beach and relaxing and grilling in his back yard.
