William Reece

SUTTON - William E. Reece, 78, died Thursday, Feb. 16th at Life Care Center in Auburn.

He leaves his wife, Joan C. (Dussault) Reece; two children, Beth McLaughlin and her husband Michael, of Lincoln and Paul Reece and his wife, Lucille from Charlton; five grandchildren, Will and Owen Reece, Charles, Connor, Brian McLaughlin; a sister, Dorothy Townsend and her husband, Robert of Millbury and a brother, Harold Reece and his wife Joy of Sutton; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parent, Harold A. and Anne (Sawicki) Reece.

Mr. Reece served in the US Air Force and was an office technician at New England Telephone Co., before he retired. He enjoyed spending time golfing, gardening, skiing and spending time with his grandchildren. Bill liked spending time in Florida and was very active in the Tala Lakes community.

His funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21st at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Rd. in Sutton. There are no calling hours and burial will be private. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please continue to offer your prayers for Bill.
