William Stockhaus

October 11, 1951 — February 1, 2008

MILLBURY – William E. Stockhaus Jr., 56, of 6 Fontaine St., died Friday, Feb. 1st after being stricken ill at home.

He leaves his wife, Dianne M. (Perry) Stockhaus and family and friends. He was born in Worcester son of William and Eleanor (Kondratowicz) Stockhaus and has lived in Millbury all his life.

Bill worked for Norton Company now Saint-Gobain Abrasives in Worcester for 35 years.
He served his country as a member of the Massachusetts National Guard. He was a member, lecture, collector and a member of the Christian Band of St. Brigid's Church and a member of the K of C Golf League of the Kettlebrook, the American Bowling Congress Bowling league and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council, #88 Alhambra. Bill was involved with sports while at Millbury Memorial High School, where he graduated in the class of 1969. In his youth he was involved in equestrian competitions and had received many blue ribbons.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way of Central Mass., 484 Main St., Worcester, MA 01608.
