SUTTON – Yvette D. (Bardier) Chizy, 91, passed away suddenly after being stricken ill in her home on Friday, Dec. 23rd.
Yvette’s husband of 65 years, Michael A. Chizy passed away in 2016. She leaves her son, Michael P. Chizy and his wife, Marie of Douglas; two grandchildren, Eric Chizy and Alex Chizy and his wife, Cassandra all of Douglas; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Ovila and Marie Rose (Caplette) Bardier; five siblings, Raymond, Theresa, Helen, Albert and Ronald.
Yvette worked for over 20 years at Tupperware in South Grafton and was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Church in Sutton for many years. Most of all she enjoyed spending time and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.
Family and friends will remember and celebrate Yvette’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Dec. 29th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 30th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton. Burial will follow in St. Philip’s Cemetery in Grafton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael A. Chizy Food Pantry, 19 Hough Road, Sutton MA 01590.
