Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.
Stuart graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1962, and then attended New England School of Accounting graduating in 1964. In 1966 he graduated from the New England Institute of Anatomy and Embalming. Stuart was voluntarily drafted into the military in 1967 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War with the 25th Infantry Division. He received the Purple Heart for wounds received in action and the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement in a ground operations against hostile forces.
When he was discharged from the military, Stuart entered the family business becoming a fully licensed embalmer and funeral director in 1969. Stuart is married to Mary Lou (Malo) Mulhane and they have two children, Matthew and Emily.
He is a member of numerous organizations which include Millbury Veterans Council, Charles F. Minney VFW Post, the Devoe-Taylor American Legion Post #9, the Millbury Lions Club, St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Brigid Church, and the Board of Directors at the Millbury National Bank.
Matthew graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1999 and in 2003 he graduated from Colby-Sawyer College, earning a bachelor degree in Business Management. He continued his education at the Funeral Institute of New England becoming a fully licensed embalmer and funeral director in 2009.
Matthew grew up in Millbury and was a longtime resident. Recently he became a resident of Sutton and is dedicated to the Millbury & Sutton communities. He was a member of the Millbury Bicentennial Celebration Committee and is currently involved with the Millbury Lions Club. Matthew serves on the Board of Directors for the Millbury National Bank and the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association. He has been a passionate football coach for many years and currently is an assistant coach for the Sutton/Douglas High School Football Program.
